A Hindu devotee takes a holy dip at the start of Ardh Kumbh Mela, or Half Pitcher festival, at Sangam in Allahabad city January 3, 2007.
The annual Kumbh Mela festival has now started in India. This attracts hundreds of thousands of devotees who seek to purify themselves in the River Ganges and consult with holy men and women. It is often televised in highlights. If you haven't caught this before, it can be a very profound spiritual experience even via TV. So do keep an eye open for it.
Happy Kumbh Mela

Thank you Bruv. There are some cool sites that cover the history of the festival. I do hope I get a chance to see it televised.
Happy weekend to all!
