Swan asked me to write some words about the Dao for inclusion as web-site of the month in the next issue of Knowing Nantes. In the spirit of democracy, I wanted to have your input on this. I have drafted some words for you to consider and add your unique thoughts.
The Dao – a site for Unconditional Love
Would you like to go somewhere where you will not be judged, where you can express your thoughts and be listened to by like-minded people who want to hear what you have to say? Would you like to share a space where you can be truly open and honest about how you feel and what you have experienced? Would you like to be supported in what you are trying to do? Do you have a need to support others in achieving their goals? If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then The Dao is for you.
On the Dao you can raise issues, recount experiences and comment on the thoughts of others. It can be informative, stimulating and supportive. It is a place where you can feel comfortable and safe and loved. You can join in anonymously if you choose. Just pick a name that you would like to be known by and add your voice to ours. You can talk about anything. We would love to hear of your views on love, life and truth. You can start by leaving comments on current posts and if you want to be able to start topics of your own, then just say and it will be done! It is your site if you want it to be. Give it a try. You will find a warm welcome at:

The Dao (pronounced either Dow or Day-o and meaning the true path or Tao) was started in October 2005 and has just achieved its first birthday. Happy Birthday Dao! We currently have six full posting contributors and any number of additional readers and commentators.
PS. The image is of the word Dao in chinese calligraphy.
