Here are a few photos from my Dad's 85th birthday party.
First, some sisterly Tai Chi in the kitchen. We are 'drawing the bow' with my sister El, friend Chop and sister-in-law Dao in the background. Thanks to Chop for helping me choose an MP3 player for my journey home.
Here is Dougie 'hanging with his bitches'! It is actually Joan and Joy, the Scissor Sisters.

My sister Jude and I making crispy duck pancakes with Jude's friend Kimberley looking on. 
Finally, the Thai feast provided by my sister El and Dao (that's actually my Thai sister-in-law's name - coincidence eh!).
A great time, and a lot of champagne, was had by all.

Nammy, your Dad rang me today, it was such a surprise but so lovely to hear his voice, his voice hasn't changed very much - how nice it was of him to ring, it made my day! He also said how proud he was of you and how kind and thoughtful you all are to him and how much he enjoyed his Birthday.
He also spoke of Bruv, and the fact that he still likes to keep in contact with you Bruv, and really appreciates how you look after Nammy. He rang to thank me for our Birthday card, how sweet!
Nam, back to you, firstly, these photos are great, how lovely to see you all again after such a long time! Jude hasn't changed much a little fuller in the face, but Tone, I would not have recognised at all! Wow he has changed beyond all recognition. You look georgeous, so young and vibrant and your Sister Eleanor looks pretty similar.

Dougie was very pleased to receive your card. It is funny that Jude and Tone who used to be slim now have put on weight whereas El who had put on a lot of weight is now very slim. She does a lot of sports and jogging so maybe that is why.
